An imperial princess opens her eyes in a bed that isn't hers, with a lover on either side of her, and a crowd of noblemen are already competing for her attention. That's how I Fell Into a Reverse Harem Game begins. Then it gets worse. Elvia isn't the heroine of this game. She's the villainess. The heroine is Arielle, her own maid, who plans to ruin her and walk off with every man in the palace.
It's a Korean romance-fantasy webcomic adapted from a web novel by Inui. The licensed English version is on Tapas, around 190 episodes in, between Season 5 and Season 6. The first episodes are free there.
The twist that makes it work
Here's the hook. Elvia can see Arielle's player notifications: the little pop-ups a dating sim shows its player when she makes progress with a love interest. So the villainess knows exactly what the heroine is scheming and how close she is to winning each man. Most "trapped in a game" stories give the newcomer the cheat sheet. This one hands it to the person the game was built to destroy.
That premise turns a dating sim into a court chess match. Elvia has to decide which men to keep, which to let go and how to beat a rival who doesn't know she's being watched. The suitors are the prize; the counter-scheming is the fun. If you liked the anime My Next Life as a Villainess, this is the meaner, smarter cousin; our reverse harem anime list has that one and seven more.
What "reverse harem game" means in the title
The phrase comes from otome games, the Japanese dating sims aimed at women where each eligible man is a separate "route" and you normally pick one. A reverse harem game is the greedy version: the player tries to win all of them at once. Korean romance fantasy borrowed the format wholesale, which is why this shelf is full of heroines who wake up inside a game and recognize the men by their character art.
The detail most of these stories use is the interface: affection meters, quest alerts, a route opening up. This series turns that interface into a weapon by giving the villainess a view of it. That's the single idea the whole comic hangs on, and the reason to pick it over the dozens of lookalikes.

🔀Don't confuse it with
The Korean reverse harem shelf is full of near-identical titles, and search engines blur them together. Here's what's the same series and what isn't.
Is it worth starting while it's on break?
Yes, if you're the sort of reader who enjoys a heroine who plans three moves ahead. With about 190 episodes out you have weeks of catching up before Season 6 arrives. The trade-off is built into the setup: scheming gets as much page time as swooning, and the suitor list is long. If you'd rather your reverse harem get to the point, the serials below move much faster.
One more heads-up before you click on them. A webcomic on Tapas and a serial on NanoReads sit at very different heat levels. Most of our reverse harem titles are tagged steamy or erotic, so expect open-door scenes, not lingering looks across a ballroom.

Bound to Our Enemy, Luna Carlisle
Werewolf · twin heirs · enemy pack · steamyThe closest match for Elvia's mood: a woman standing on neutral ground at peace talks, facing the enemy pack's twin heirs, where politics and attraction are the same battlefield. Lena is an Alpha's daughter, so she arrives with standing, not as a pawn.

Forced Mate Trinity, Luna Blackwood
Sci-fi shifter · twin Alpha cyborgs · captive · eroticShe's handed over as a "peace offering" to twin cyborg Alphas who rule the Iron Fang pack. Far darker and hotter than the webcomic: a captive setup and an unwanted bond.

Lunar Mates: Twin Commanders, Luna Carlisle
Space colony · fated mates · twin commanders · steamyA bio-healer on a harsh colony locks eyes with its two commanders and learns she's their fated mate. The game here is fate, not a dating sim, but the two-for-one tension is the same.

If Elvia's revenge streak is the part you love more than the harem, try That Wolf I Used To Own: a secretary who vanished comes back as a rival CEO and outplays the Alpha who dismissed her. One love interest, plenty of scheming.

Quick answers
Is I Fell into a Reverse Harem Game finished?
Not the webcomic. Tapas announced in July 2026 that Season 5 had ended and the series would return with Season 6 after a break, at around 190 episodes so far. The original Korean web novel by Inui is complete at six volumes plus a side story.
Can I read the novel in English?
As of October 2026 I couldn't find a licensed English translation of the novel. The licensed English version is the webcomic on Tapas. There is also a Japanese print edition from Ichijinsha.
How much of it is free?
On Tapas the first few episodes are free outright, and a run of early episodes is wait-until-free with a short timer. The newest episodes are excluded from wait-until-free, so catching up to the latest season means coins (Ink) or free episode gifts.
Is it the same as I'm Trapped in a Bloody Reverse Harem Game?
No. That is a separate, darker Korean web novel with its own cast. Youngest Sister-in-Law in a Tragic Reverse Harem is another separate series, also on Tapas. Only It Looks Like I've Fallen Into the World of a Reverse Harem Game is an alternate title for this one.
