Since graduating from culinary school in 2006, Michael has navigated nearly every facet of the food service industry. His journey has taken him through the fast-paced world of casinos, the high-stakes environments of hospitals and correctional facilities, and the compassionate care of assisted living centers. He has served as a Chef, General Manager, and Consultant, eventually finding his calling as a Nutrition Director and Child Nutrition Specialist for a K-12 school district. A dual powerhouse of talent, Michael is both a Certified Master Pizza Chef and a Certified Dietary Manager. This unique combination of artisan craft and nutritional science allows him to create recipes that are as healthy as they are delicious. Michael’s writing reflects his professional philosophy: that the kitchen should be a place of warmth, inclusion, and excellence. When he isn't overseeing school nutrition programs or perfecting a crust, Michael is dedicated to helping home cooks master the art of the kitchen with confidence and heart.
